Great Fulford - Fashion Portraits Photoshoot - 17th October 24

Now that the epic Lovegrove multi-day workshops are ending, I’ve decided to put on some 1-day events that combine fabulous locations with top models in a 2:1 photographer-to-model ratio. The first of these events is at a privately owned country mansion in the heart of rural Devon, UK. Unlike all of my previous events, there is no tuition. All photographer pairs are free to discuss on their own lighting for each shoot/location.
The perfect photography opportunity
It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned pro or a keen amateur, practice is key. Some photographers like to use soft light for their portraits, others prefer to use hard light. Some love working with flash and others choose to use continuous light. Whatever your preferences, you can shoot your style, your way.
Use this event to build your portfolio, work on some art projects, and have fun.

Thursday, the 17th of October, has been set because that is when the house is available to us. It also coincides with the availability of our fabulous models. I expect the house with its thick stone walls to be quite chilly in October so please bear that in mind when planning what to wear. There are also some opportunities to shoot exteriors if the weather is kind to us.
Bring a camera, lights, a packed lunch and a few drinks for the day.

I will be on hand to troubleshoot any initial problems and provide logistics help if required. The day will start with a walk through the location defining the shooting zones and setting out the opportunities at each location. The styling will be coordinated by me but will largely be left to the models. My guess is they will change at least once throughout the day to keep the pictures shared with them fresh and unique. Each model will work in one location and the photographers will change locations each session. That way, all photographers will shoot with all models and all locations.

Our top professional models for this shoot on the 17th of October are Carla Monaco and Irida from the UK, Leo Leblanche from Belgium and Mischkah from Norway.

Cancellation Policy
Should you cancel your place on this event for any reason, no refund will be available unless your place is resold. If you would like to cancel please contact me by phone or email as soon as possible. The exception to this is if I have prior notice and am able to put a cancellation place back online AND your place is resold. In this event, I will, of course, make a full refund or credit to you. I also reserve the right to cancel any event if there is insufficient demand, especially if it means that my costs are higher than the income. Please, therefore, do not leave it until the last few weeks if you are interested in a particular event, as you may find that it has been removed.
Some costs for each photoshoot event remain the same regardless of how many attendees there are, like any pre-booked tickets for the theatre, concert, flights, etc, we are unable to give a full refund in the event of non-attendance, regardless of the circumstance.
Please note that we cannot be liable for any other costs incurred by yourself, so please check with us before booking any non-refundable accommodation or transport.

General guidance
Please protect the wooden floors from lighting stands and ensure that tripods don’t have spiked fitted. Please look out for chandeliers when you are rigging and setting lighting. There is a fairly modern mains electricity supply in most areas that we are shooting in. Please don’t arrive at the location before 09:00. This is to keep the disturbance to the owner to a minimum. If you are travelling a long way and are ahead of time please park up in a local village until just before 9 am.
